Noodling (also called grabblin or hand fishing) is the practice of catching catfish by hand. You reach into underwater holes and crevices where catfish nest, and when the fish bites your hand, you pull it out.

Is noodling safe?

With an experienced guide, noodling is a safe and thrilling activity. We provide all necessary safety gear and our guides have years of experience on these lakes.

What should I bring?

Wear clothes you don't mind getting wet and muddy. Bring a change of clothes, a towel, sunscreen, and a camera. We'll handle the rest!

How many people can come?

We accommodate groups of various sizes. Contact us to discuss your group and we'll work out the best arrangement.

What lakes do you fish?

We fish several lakes around North Carolina including Badin, High Rock, Norman, and Gaston. We'll pick the lake we feel will be most productive for the day.
